The VBI delivery system has multi-lingual capabilities. This applies to the two open source platforms, namely Joomla (CMS)[1] and Moodle (LMS)[2]. This means that the default system can change to other languages by the click of a button.
However, the customized elements, and course content, have to be translated.
Translation task teams
The VBI system will add languages through translation task teams. So far two languages are in process: Spanish and Mandarin, and work at course translation has already been done into French and Swedish. We anticipate that task teams will begin with these languages as well.
